How to handle the SCIP regulations

The deadline for reporting hazardous substances in products (new EU rules called SCIP) is less than two months away. Find out if and how you are affected!

Reporting regulation applies to:
* Only for EU producers, importers, assemblers and distributors.
* Any supplier of articles containing above 0.1% w/w of a substance of very high concern on the Candidate List


Reporting regulation do not applies to:
* Retailers that supply directly and exclusively to consumers
* Non-EU suppliers have no obligations. However they should support importers of their articles in the EU to fulfil their regulatory obligations, namely to submit SCIP notifications to ECHA
