Last Friday Swedish Environmental Protection Agency published new statistics on greenhouse gas emissions from the industry in Sweden. Industrial emissions account for 31% of Sweden's total emissions where the iron and steel industry is guilty for 38%.

The statistics indicates that the climate can benefit a lot from sustainable innovations within the steel industry. We aim to make the industry more transparent regarding sustainability data with our new tool for tracing and estimating Co2 emissions throughout the value chain.
