How we got here...

ChainTraced was born from real-world experience in the manufacturing trenches. Our CEO Victor Andersson and Co-founder Thomas Persson, after years of working across various roles in the manufacturing industry, recognized a critical gap in supply chain visibility and traceability. Their shared vision of revolutionizing manufacturing transparency led to the ChainTraced concept.

The idea caught the attention of Hidden Dreams, who provided our foundational seed funding to transform this vision into reality. Shortly after, Johan Lejdung joined as CTO and technical Co-founder, bringing the technical expertise needed to build our platform.

Today, we're dedicated to empowering manufacturing companies with better traceability and comprehensive manufacturing support. We're also pioneering solutions for Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) emission reporting, making sustainability compliance as transparent and effortless as possible for businesses throughout the supply chain.

Our story

ChainTraced was founded in 2019 by Victor Andersson with a background in quality management and management consulting within the manufacturing industry. With good understanding and established relation to the operational challenges and the strategic agenda of quality, ChainTraced was created as a digital end-to-end traceability platform to trace material and quality data of products from raw-material to end-product within the metallic value chain.

With an increased market demand for sustainable production and movement towards circular business models, it has been a natural step for ChainTraced to add support for managing greenhouse (GHG) data to empower the transition.

The mission remains to be a driving force that empowers secure and sustainable supply chains by enabling efficient, collaborative and transparent value chains to share critical product data on transactional level.
